Week 8: Art

 

Here is my art for the week. This is a drawing of a bonsai tree that sits on my desk.

 

Bonsai Trees are art in their own way. They been part of the Asian culture for centuries. Bonsais are made by twisting the parts together. The trees are only a couple inches tall, but I think that's what makes them so interesting.

 

The shading on my picture is really light, so next time I need to fix that by making it darker. I used pencil, but if I did this again, I'd probably ink it or color it. Either way, I think that my art would look a lot better. I also drew it from a weird perspective, so the proportions look a little weird, too. I'm starting to think that I should probably do this drawing again and fix it.
