Week 9: Value Scales & Sphere

 

Hello!

I'm really excited how well this turned out. It took about an hour, and it covered my whole page. I used a HB 2 Soft lead pencil and a HB pencil.

 On the value scale examples, I noticed that there was a lighter, almost white line between each scale, so I tried to incorporate that into my drawing.

The sphere was tricky to do. I think that the drawing was a bit harder to do from the video because it looked easier for someone who is left-handed. Nonetheless, I think that it was great practice.

 

 

 

 

This drawing is probably ranking No.2 on my favorite drawings that I've done this semester.
