Week 16: Art
I've finally finished my art piece!
I tried to see how many mediums and styles I could combine into one. The galaxy used watercolor, with both the wet-on-wet and dry technique. I used white paint for the stars. For my main subject, I made it into a collage of as many Studio Ghibli movies I could fit into it. I also used negative and positive space to complete the collage. The Totoro is filled in with a sharpie. I also used free hand as my technique for drawing out my designs.

Oh my gosh, I love it! Studio Ghibli! I like all the details from the movies you put in there! Like Jiji from Kik's Delivery Service, Haku from Spirited Away, the design on Shita's pendent in Castle in the sky, and of course, the silhouette of Totoro! I love this thing to death!
