Week 24: Portrait Painting

 

Hello!

 

Here is my first ever portrait painting!

 I did a light contour drawing and then I used oil paints. Also, I realize now that one of the colors I used looks a bit like pencil, but it is all paint! This took a couple of hours to do and to figure out the tones. I was super nervous about getting yellow skin, but I don't think that it happened. I also experimented with the colors and I added colors I wouldn't have thought to add. For example, can you see the green in her hair?

 

 

 

 

I think this was really fun and I'm excited to try portrait painting again!
